Who We Are:
Seth started milling his own wood with a
friend to supply his longboard skateboard
company, San Filippo Custom
Longboards.  What started as a hobby for
Seth to supply his small business with
wood quickly turned into an amount of
stored wood that would take a life time to
work through.  A genuine love for trees
and the beautiful wood that comes from
them has turned into an up and coming
sustainable local business that he truly
enjoys while giving something back to the
community.
Our Interests:
Away from woodworking, Seth enjoys beekeeping, surfing, snowboarding, longboard
skateboarding, and wrenching on old Chevy's.  Seth and his wife Christina, love the
music, food, and culture of the Northwest.  They are excited to raise their newborn son
in a friendly place with a small town feel like Eugene.

About Us
Urban Lumber Company
How We Operate:
Currently, we transport  our logs with a
small self loader
from city streets and
backyards back to our log yard.   Next we
mill them up into various sizes of lumber
using a portable Woodmizer bandmill.
The wood is then stickered and stacked
for air drying before it eventually goes in
our dehumidification dry kiln.  After it is
dry, the lumber is surfaced and put up for
sale in our retail store at 2440 Main St. in
Springfield, Oregon.  From there it goes
on to be made into beautiful furniture and
other handmade products.
